Details on ERIKA Enterprise for Altera Nios II
ERIKA Enterprise (EE) is an open-source RTOS which implements the OSEK/VDX API. EE is available for FREE under the GPL+Linking exception license.
ERIKA Enterprise currently implements the API proposed by the OSEK/VDX consortium, including the OSEK OIL, OS (Conformance Classes BCC1, BCC2, ECC1, ECC2), and ORTI. We directly support debugging using Lauterbach Trace32.
ERIKA Enterprise also hasa direct support for multicore designs, including the implemenattion of queuing spinlocks, startup barriers, interprocessor interrupts, code and data sharing, cache disabling, and static software partitioning among cores.
